Caesars Palace Las Vegas!

Caesars Palace is considered among many to be one the best Las Vegas hotels. Caesars Palace stays true to its name with a design that showcases the exquisite style of the Roman Empire. It is located on the west side of the Las Vegas Strip. With 3,348 rooms and a total of over 300,000 square feet of space in its convention center, Caesars Palace certainly has no lack of space.

The building of Caesars Palace started in 1962 when Jay Sarno began the plans for the hotel. The building started in 1962 with the first of the now five towers. Sarno picked the name Caesars Palace because he thought it would remind people of luxury and royalty. The hotel was finally finished on August 5, 1966. In 1969 the hotel was sold for $60 million to Stuart and Clifford S. Perlman. The hotel has a total of five towers, the Forum, Roman, Centurion, Palace, and Augustus.

Caesar's Palace Las Vegas features a 129,000 square foot casino. But outside of the casino is the largest poker room in Las Vegas measuring in at 14,000 square feet. The hotel not only has a stunning casino also has one of the nicest dining experiences you can get in Las Vegas. The Payard Patisserie Bistro has a stunning French cuisine, from crepes to chocolate. The Colosseum, a 4,296 seat venue, hosts a variety of performance by many artists. The Colosseum has had numerous headliners, such as Elton John and Bette Midler.

The sixth tower of the hotel is being built and is named the Octavius Tower with an unknown opening date. This tower will feature a ballroom as well as five more swimming pools in addition to its existing eight. The swimming pools will be added to Caesars Palace’s Garden of the Gods pool complex. The pool complex is overlooked by the patio seating of Rao’s, a Southern Italian restaurant.

Walking into the doors of Caesars Palace you will see the luxurious and awe-inspiring architecture and the decor of the building, specifically the fountain of three goddesses in the middle of the lobby. There is a domed ceiling that has similar art to what you would expect in Rome. The ceilings are sculpted and all the details make the lobby itself a must-see site. Caesars Palace truly is one of the most stunning Las Vegas hotels.
